Day two of the Project Partners meeting, held from 15 to 17 October, brought together Trainers and Policy Board members at the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB). Professor Dr. Phoebe Koundouri provided an overview of her work and the activities of AE4RIA – the Alliance of Excellence for Research and Innovation on Aephoria.

This was followed by a presentation from Mr. Constantinos Triantafyllou on the initiatives of HELMEPA – the Hellenic Marine Environment Protection Association.

Mr. Thanos Tsagatakis delivered a presentation on the Greek Vocational Education and Training (VET) system on behalf of Mrs. Olga Kafetzopoulou, General Secretary for VET and Lifelong Learning at the Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports.

Mrs. Katerina Alexomanolaki, Head of the Department of Vocational Education Policies at the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, concluded the session with a presentation on the connection between vocational education and the labor market in Greece.
